Fans of science fiction have reason to be pleased - director Ridley Scott has confirmed that work on the series on "Alien" and "Blade Runner" is progressing rapidly.
According to Scott, the script for the pilot episode of "Blade Runner" is ready, as well as the so-called bible - the document that lists the characters, locations and other important elements of the history of a production, and which is used by screenwriters to ensure that there are no discrepancies in events, names, etc.
The "Alien" series is approached in a similar way. A pilot episode is currently being written, as well as an accompanying bible about what should happen in the first 8-10 hours of the series.
