Star Dust is a British plane that disappeared on August 2, 1947 over Mount Tupungato, in the Argentine Andes. The plane operated a regular flight from Buenos Aires to Santiago, but never reached its final destination. Shortly before it disappeared from radar, Star Dust sent its last message via Morse code, and the meaning of the word "STENDEC", which they received at Santiago Airport, remains a mystery to this day. The plane was found 50 years later, but to this day the meaning of the strange abbreviation has not been discovered. Some researchers believe it is a warning about UFOs.
