One of the epic images shared by the Chinese National Space Administration shows a close-up of Tianwon-1 and its solar massif as it passes the North Pole of Mars.
Another image shows the entire spacecraft for the first time. Such a picture has not been taken so far on any spacecraft in orbit around another planet. The shot is like "snatched" directly from a science fiction movie.
To take the picture, Tianwon-1 releases a small camera, which then moves away from the camera to take a picture and transmits the image back.
